Hakvoort Yachts

Hakvoort Yachts for Sale

Hakvoort Yachts started in 1919. In Monnickendam, Holland, Albert Klzn Hakvoort purchased a shipyard that had launched its first vessel back in 1780. The Hakvoort shipyard started out by building fishing boats and moved into the yacht building niche as the demand for pleasure boats increased. The yard still remains in family hands with it passing down from father to son on a number of occasions giving the Hakvoort company a very personal feel. Hakvoort Yachts put both yacht luxury and comfort first and supreme excellence and attention to detail as standard.

Why Buy a Hakvoort Yacht

Hakvoort luxury Dutch yachts are created in a shipyard containing two enclosed and temperature-controlled docking and construction halls. There is also a metal workshop, the Hakvoort offices and a large quayside area, where around 90 experienced staff work to support the building of Hakvoort boats from its design to sale. With a well-established worldwide reputation to uphold, over the years the aesthetical and technical qualities of the Hakvoort yachts have improved. This has inevitably resulted in a number of yachting awards in a number of categories. Having mastered the entire building process in steel, aluminium and wood, it is no wonder that customers keep coming back to Hakvoort.

Hakvoort yachts exemplify Dutch craftsmanship and expertise.  LA REINA DEL MAR, is a notable example of the shipyard’s work. Launched in 1985, she is a classic yacht from Hakvoort, with incredible sea keeping ability, able to go anywhere. Indeed, the 31m yacht can be considered as a ‘little ship’ due to her ocean-going capacity. With timeless styling and excellent accommodation for a yacht of her size, comprising four staterooms for eight guests, she is a superb opportunity for the discerning yachtsman with a passion for voyages and exploration.
