Italian Captain Ferdinando brings over 30 years of on-the-water experience to every charter. From organising birthday parties on private Greek beaches with BBQ and fireworks to finding the perfect uninhabited island in the Maldives, Captain Ferdinando takes every charter experience to the next level.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES: Motor yachts NADIR II and T.M. BLUE ONE; sailing yachts VAE VICTIS and CARRERA. Extensive cruising in the Caribbean and the Maldives, unparalleled Mediterranean knowledge.

The original build Captain on FORMOSA, Sebastien has worked for the same satisfied Owner for 12 years. Growing up on sailing yachts in the South of France, he has worked on board charter yachts since the age of 23. His lifetime experience in Chief Officer and Captain roles has taken him to almost every country and ocean in the world.

SPECIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:  Captain 3000 French COC

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:  Motor Yachts NETANYA 7 (50M/164'), NETANYA 8 (60M/196'),  SENSATION (50M/164'). 

Extensive cruising around the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, much of Asia,  and the Caribbean, Indian, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

Spotted as a hard-working crew member and hired by BIG EAGLE's original Captain 25 years ago, Captain Christiana is  a California native. She  grew up around the water, sailing, diving, surfing, windsurfing, and water-skiing, graduating from UCLA with a degree in Economics before beginning her successful yachting career.

SPECIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:  Qualified Divemaster

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:  Captaining BIG EAGLE through Alaska, the Baltic, the British Isles, the Norwegian Fjords, Panama, the Eastern and Western US coastline, the Bahamas, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean from the very mouth of Gibraltar to Turkey’s most Eastern shore.

Captain Robert has worked with the same Owner since 2001, captaining his current yacht HARMONY III for 13 years so far and his previous yacht HARMONY I for 7 years. He was also build Captain for both yachts, giving him an enhanced level of insight which benefits every charter experience today. He began his career on board charter yachts in St Thomas, Virgin Islands, in 1989. One recent charter moment Captain Robert created for guests was anchoring as the sun set off the Stromboli volcano, perfectly positioned to observe the volcano's vent. "The guests enjoyed one of the greatest shows on earth.  I have been past Stromboli many times, but this night was the most spectacular by far," remembers the Captain.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:  HARMONY I (build Captain & Captain), extensive knowledge of cruising the Mediterranean including Spain, Italy, France, Croatia, and Greece. 

Captain Paul took his first position as a charter Captain on board LATIKO in 2008, and has successfully headed up the yacht ever since, including the latest new build 44m Benetti Vision from 2014. British born, he is an award-winning Captain with a constant focus on optimising the charter experience. “Every year I aim to make the charter experience even better than the last," he says. "The bedrock of this is making sure we have the very best crew, and presenting the vessel in top condition.”

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:  A huge variety of vessels from high speed performance yachts to classic sailing schooners.  Previous experiences in the Caribbean, Canaries, East Africa, Madagascar, Indian Ocean. Extensive knowledge of the whole Mediterranean, with particular emphasis on Croatia, Greece & Turkey

 

With 23 years on board ASKARI, 17 of those in French Polynesia, the yacht’s current destination, Captain Claud has consistently received excellent feedback from charter guests. Winner of the Best Charter Crew Award (Yacht under 50M) in 2016, Captain Claud once achieved a successful 13-month charter with a single family from the Caribbean to Australia. One of his most memorable yachting experiences was meeting a young charter guest family and becoming mentors for their boys. “Watching the boys grow up, from young children into adults and then themselves visiting the yacht as principal guests, and seeing the love and values of the parents passed over, is something in my mind very special,” he says.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:  Chief Engineer on board ASKARI

Since the launch of ULTIMATE LADY in 1998, Tom worked his way up through the ranks, from deckhand to gaining his Captain's and Engineer license. In 2001, he was offered the position of Captain. Tom has operated the ULTIMATE LADY throughout the South Pacific, cruising the East Coast of Australia to Lizard Island, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour, Vanuatu, Fiji, New Caledonia, Tonga, Samoa, New Zealand, Norfolk Island. The last 10 years have been spent extensively exploring remote French Polynesia, throughout The Marqueses Islands, Societies, Austral Islands, Gambier, Tuamotus and Rapa in the very south. With a growing family in Tahiti, Tom now calls French Polynesia home.
