Fraser's Fort Lauderdale Team Organises Successful Beach Clean Up

On June 11th, Fraser invited all local captains, crew and friends of the ocean to participate and help clean local beaches.

Following the Captains' Cocktail , Fraser’s Fort Lauderdale team furthered their support for Twenty6North Productions by partnering with them for their 2nd Anniversary Sustainable Bash Beach Clean Up in honour of World Oceans Month. On June 11th, Fraser invited all local captains, crew and friends of the ocean to participate and help clean local beaches. A highly successful day, the event saw 120 people show up to help with these efforts.

The eco-event included a full day of activities, including Rumble boxing fitness and restorative yoga, a community beach cleanup, live music, spirit activations, sustainable shopping, and more. In partnership with Fraser, YO Synergy, The B Ocean Resort, and Twenty6North Productions and local ocean allies, the event was also in support of Broward County Sea Turtle Protection Program, preserving sea turtle habitats as we move into hatching season.

Initiatives such as this event play a small but significant part within Fraser’s wider mission to lead the industry in green. Fraser is proud to operate a worldwide FUTURE Sustainability Programme across all offices in every aspect of our business and is proud to partner with Plastic Oceans. With this year’s UN World Ocean’s Day theme being Revitalisation: Collective Action for the Ocean, Fraser is also proud to highlight that our employees across all 17 offices are committed to making all offices ‘Reuse, Refuse, Reduce, Recycle, Return to the Earth.’
