Charter Guide - Discover Timeless Wonders of Turkey

Charter Guide - Discover Timeless Wonders
Turkey’s lengthy coastline provides a multitude of choices for luxury yacht charter itineraries. In particular, the stunning Turquoise Coast from Antalya to Dalaman offers you the opportunity to create your very own mythical odyssey.
Here we’ll take a closer look at some Turquoise Coast hot spots to visit on your luxury yacht charter in Turkey: We’ll start with Antalya at the Eastern end of the Turquoise Coast, where the Adoport Marina with its 100 berths is able to accommodate many large superyachts. This ancient city is believed to have been settled more than 2,000 years ago. Today, you can still enjoy a stroll around its charming historic centre, enclosed in old city walls. You can take in the 360-degree views with which Antalya has been gifted - perched high on cliffs with fabulous sea views in one direction and a gorgeous backdrop of mountains in the other. Even towards the end of the season, you’ll still be able to bask in the warmth of temperatures topping 26 degrees in October. Take some time to enjoy Lara, an area to the east of the city centre, known for its fabulous golden beaches. Luxuriate in one of the excellent spas and wellness centres on offer in several five-star hotels, before heading back to your superyacht to watch the sunset from your sundeck, accompanied by your favourite cocktail. Move away from the metropolis of Antalya and cruise down the coast towards the quiet and unspoilt low-rise resort of Cirali. Leave the pebble beach to the endangered loggerhead turtles that lay their eggs there and instead dive off the swimming platform of your superyacht to enjoy a swim with a view. Mount Olympos is the highlight, standing out amongst the smaller peaks on show at over 2,000 metres in height. Much of the rocky coastline south of Cirali can only be explored from the water, so take full advantage of your luxury yacht charter to enjoy the privacy of this unspoiled stretch of coastline for swimming and snorkelling. Call in to the authentic and charming villages of Adrasan and Kale Köyü. History buffs will undoubtedly enjoy a trip out to the deserted island of Kekova to visit a sunken Lycian city on its northern coast. Further round the coast, heading back towards Dalaman, the bays around Gocek are superb spots to spend the last couple of days of your superyacht charter. The location has always attracted discerning visitors, as Cleopatra travelled here on two occasions, including her honeymoon with Marc Antony. Visit the ruins of her ancient baths in the amazing setting of Cleopatra’s Bay. Even 2,000 years later, the tranquillity of the bay with its crystal clear waters, will take your breath away. Continue with your regal lifestyle when you return to your luxury yacht where your onboard experience will be nothing but exceptional.
