Cogs4Cancer 2015 Race Diary

COGS4CANCER 2015
A 5 day diary of the Cogs4Cancer 2015 charity bike ride from Barcelona to Antibes by Captain James Griffith of M/Y IMAGINE.
Day 1: Sending you pictures from yesterday's tribute ride and today's 1st full day.  We did 153kms today and it's 170kms for tomorrow's ride.  It was a tough day but the pace of all the riders was really good, but it's going to be a long week and the legs will be like jelly by Friday!
Day 2: 174kms down today and ready for another 165kms tomorrow, 8 hours on the saddle though today and plenty more hours on it this week will make a simple task of sitting down a challenge by Friday!!  Tomorrow is Narbonne to Nimes.
Day 3 & 4: We made it to La Ciotat safely today, 1 more big push to the finish line tomorrow. Speak to you soon, I'm off to sleep, up at 4.45 tomorrow morning ready for about 200kms to Antibes.
Day 5: We made it, just under 200 kms yesterday and I'm pretty sore now. Thanks once again for all the support and the sponsorship it really means a lot.  We raised over 250,000 euros so far and still more to come. Many thanks once again, relaxing the legs today by the pool!!   To support Cogs4Cancer and help raise money for Cancer Research and Cancer care visit https://www.justgiving.com/cogs4cancer/
