James brings both precision and passion to his role as a Broker, shaped by a lifelong connection to the marine world. After earning his BA (Hons) in Classics from Newcastle University, he began his broking career in 2008 with ICAP plc’s yacht division. Since then, he has built an extensive track record, chartering hundreds of vessels across the globe and developing exceptional insight into the charter fleet, their crews, and the destinations they serve.
A seasoned traveler and accomplished sailor, James has crewed and raced on some of the world’s most advanced sailboats, gaining first-hand knowledge of premier cruising grounds worldwide—expertise he draws on daily to guide his Clients with confidence and clarity.
When he’s not working, James can usually be found on or in the water. A father of two, he is a qualified RYA Coastal Skipper and certified Rescue Diver, continuing to deepen the experience that underpins his professional approach.
