Nico Maver was promoted to Safety Superintendent and Deputy DPA and CSO in February 2026, after three years as Safety Superintendent.
Nico brings more than 20 years of maritime experience, including a decade in shipyards followed by extensive seagoing service on large private and commercial yachts. He has held senior deck officer roles, including Chief Officer on vessels exceeding 70 meters, with direct involvement in ISM implementation, safety management systems, refit coordination, navigation, and crew leadership.
Since joining Fraser, Nico has supported the safety function across fleet compliance, operational safety oversight, and regulatory matters. Today, he continues to strengthen safety standards and compliance across the managed fleet, contributing to the integrity and operational excellence of Fraser’s technical and safety framework.
