OLYMPUS
MOTOR YACHT
Presenting motor yacht OLYMPUS, the 55M/180’ Van Lent Feadship custom-built in 1996. OLYMPUS was one of the last yachts designed by celebrated naval architect Frits De Voogt, who worked in collaboration with Andrew Winch on her exterior design and layout.
Built to an extraordinarily high standard, OLYMPUS is one of the most spacious and well-appointed yachts in her class. Her imaginative, modernist-inspired interior, also by Andrew Winch, includes features usually only found in much larger yachts. An elevator serves all decks, from the lower to the sundeck. The forward-facing master suite on the main deck includes a study, hair salon, walk-in closet, and an elegant observation lounge — not to mention a Caesar-sized bed and ‘his and her’ bathrooms. A recent refurbishment added a touch of Palm Beach chic to her bright and airy salons, now decorated in soft tones of pastel blue and antique rose pink.
Featuring two master staterooms, OLYMPUS comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests in 8 well-appointed staterooms. The second master suite on the bridge deck can be closed off to create a private area incorporating the bridge deck salon and the aft deck. Two double and two twin cabins with Pullman beds, and two single cabins for children or staff are on the lower deck. All staterooms have ensuite bathrooms.
OLYMPUS’ outside decks are spacious and versatile. The sundeck includes an observation area, a jacuzzi with sun loungers, and a large bar. The aft section stores two 7M tenders and two Sea-Doos. It was built to land a 3,100kg helicopter – an EC 135 or similar model – and functions as a touch-and-go helipad, a unique feature for a 55M yacht.
In 2023, OLYMPUS underwent an eight-figure refit at Monaco Marine in La Ciotat, France, which included a major technical and structural overhaul, upgrades to the crew areas, and refurbishment of the guest spaces. In 2024/2025, she underwent significant winter works at Feadship Refit in Amsterdam.
Cayman flagged, LY2, and commercially compliant, OLYMPUS is powered by two Caterpillar 3516 engines. With a proven record of global navigation, she has a 4,000 nautical mile range at 12 knots.
In mint condition with new paintwork, OLYMPUS stands out as one of the best-designed, best-maintained, and most compelling Feadships afloat.
