Designed inside and out by Guido de Groot, with naval architecture by Ginton (Holland), VANADIS combines a full-displacement aluminum hull with an advanced Siemens-managed hybrid propulsion system. Twin Caterpillar engines, electric motors and 360-degree Schottel pods deliver efficient cruising, a 2,700nm range at 9.5 knots and a top speed of 13 knots.
