By any standard, the 54m (177’) HELIOS 3 is a splendid yacht. Built by Delta in 2012, she has exceptional volume (776GT) and a versatile layout covering over 7,500 square feet (1,000m²) of living area, with 7 staterooms sleeping up to 16 guests.

Engineered and designed by the Delta Design Group, HELIOS 3 features a light, ‘Pacific Rim’ inspired interior with large windows that is as elegant as it is welcoming: the ideal multi-generational home on the water.

HELIOS 3 features a full beam owner’s suite on the upper deck, which includes the master stateroom, two dressing rooms and a bathroom, a study, a private outdoor deck, and a twin-berth ensuite stateroom for children, family members or guests. A fully equipped gym, a twin guest stateroom with Pullman berth, a media room and a guest office are on the main deck forward. An elevator serves all decks from the lower deck to the sundeck.

Her current owner purchased HELIOS 3 in 2015 and immediately took her back to Delta Marine for a refit including a hull and bridge deck extension (respectively by 4m/13’ and 2.5m/8’). The extension enhanced HELIOS 3’s already excellent exterior deck space. Her heavy fiberglass construction with a composite superstructure minimizes long-term maintenance, while providing an incredibly smooth full-displacement ride.

Built to travel and explore, HELIOS 3 has proven herself as an amazing “go anywhere at any time” yacht. Her global voyages have included multiple transatlantic and transpacific crossings. She has excellent storage capacities from stand-up bilges to extensive refrigeration which are necessary for such adventures.

HELIOS 3 is equipped with twin Caterpillar 3512B engines that give her a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a maximum speed of over 16 knots. At her economical speed of 10 knots her range is over 5,000 nautical miles. Her main tender is stowed in a float-in garage which doubles as a beach club.
