HERE COMES THE SUN

Completed in 2021 and masterminded by the original naval architects Azure Yacht Design, the rebuild project team successfully streamlined Tim Heywood’s original exterior design while the spirit and style of Winch Design’s custom interior and choice of materials was preserved throughout.

Offering elegant and functional guest and crew facilities across 6 decks, HERE COMES THE SUN accommodates up to 20 guests in 10 staterooms including a six-room private Owners’ apartment on the dedicated Owners’ deck. The apartment with port and starboard balconies includes a forward-facing master stateroom, “His” private bathroom and study, and “Her” private salon, dressing and bathroom.

Guest accommodations include two spacious VIP suites on the bridge deck with walk-around beds facing outwards onto 12-meter-long private balconies. Four of the seven additional guest staterooms on the main deck can be connected, forming two suites, each with a bedroom, sitting room and two bathrooms.

Guest areas have exceptional headroom of over 2.20m/7’2” and cover an impressive 800sqm/2,624 sq ft. In addition to the main deck salon and sky lounge each with dining areas, there is a cinema with a full-size projection screen retracting to reveal a 100-inch TV. An elevator serves all decks from the lower to the sundeck.

People oriented rather than design oriented, the over 1,000 sqm / 3,280 sq ft of decks complement the spacious interior offering a haven of relaxation and alfresco living. Outdoor highlights include a huge sundeck with a forward-facing whirlpool and gym and multiple sunbathing and entertainment areas. On the main deck, a 7m by 4m pool with contraflow jets is deep enough to dive into.

Guaranteed to impress, the beach club, which opens on three sides thanks to fold-down doors port and starboard, adjoins a fully equipped wellness center which includes a sauna, steam room, plunge pool, hairdressing salon and massage area.

HERE COMES THE SUN is equipped with two helicopter landing decks, a ‘touch and go’ helipad on the bow and a new landing pad on the sundeck. Both can land a Bell 429 or an EC 145.

Stored in the full-beam garage with port and starboard shell doors, are a 9m/29’5” D-RIB and a 10.5m/34’4” Limousine both custom-built by Yacht-Werft, plus a 7m/22’9” Nautique ski boat and two Ski Doos.

Built to LY3 with on-board comfort enhanced by zero speed stabilizers, this fantastic Dutch-built yacht is powered by two Caterpillar engines. At 13.5 knots, she has a 7,100 nautical miles range while her top speed is 17.5 knots.
