Ocean Voyager shipyard previously built, cruised and sold an 80’ sailing hull converted to a long range power boat to. This yacht was wildly successful and has since crossed the Atlantic around the Cape of Good Hope, and circumnavigated the Indian ocean. From that experience, TARA was born. Called to be more luxurious with more accommodation, but still the trademark of the builders, great access to machineries, and commercial quality.
Designed and constructed to be a rugged trawler yacht, TARA is exceptionally efficient and economical at the cruising speed of 9.5 kts. She was conceived to be the ultimate 2 person cruising yacht, but her 5 staterooms layout and her very voluminous interior give the owners the possibility of catering for family members, friends or crew.
