HAZE 2 Triumphs at the World Superyacht Awards 2026

The 2026 World Superyacht Awards, held in the enchanting city of Venice on 1–2 May, once again brought together the finest names in yachting to celebrate excellence in design, innovation and craftsmanship. Judged by an esteemed panel of current and former superyacht Owners, the awards remain one of the most respected accolades in the industry.
Among this year’s standout winners is HAZE 2, which claimed top honours in the Best Displacement Motor Yachts – 499GT and below, 30m to 39.9m category. Delivered in September 2025 by renowned Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche, the 30.8-metre explorer yacht has quickly established itself as a benchmark in her class.

HAZE 2 was conceived with a clear and ambitious vision: to create a yacht that is robust, autonomous and exceptionally comfortable, while incorporating the latest advancements in marine engineering. Drawing inspiration from the shipyard’s celebrated Darwin Class, she successfully blends proven long-range cruising capabilities with contemporary design and enhanced onboard functionality.
Engineered for global exploration, HAZE 2 features a steel hull for strength and durability, paired with an aluminium superstructure to optimise weight. Naval architecture and exterior design by Hydro Tec introduce a modern reinterpretation of the Darwin lineage, with sharp, angular lines and expansive wraparound glazing. Her metallic grey hull contrasted with a blue superstructure gives her a distinctive presence, while clever solutions such as a concealed tender crane maintain clean lines and maximise usable deck space.
Inside, London-based studio Lawson Robb has created a sophisticated yet welcoming environment. The interiors are defined by a bright, contemporary aesthetic, combining open-grain wood, brushed bronze and marble with soft neutral tones. Subtle accents of red and orange, alongside curated artworks and bespoke lighting, add warmth and personality throughout. Accommodation is designed for up to 12 guests, including a full-beam master suite and four additional staterooms, offering both privacy and comfort.
The judges praised HAZE 2 for her exceptional attention to detail, refined styling and advanced engineering. One judge notably commented that “Cantiere delle Marche has been crushing it and dominating the field,” with HAZE 2 further cementing the shipyard’s reputation for excellence.
With her seamless combination of explorer capability, contemporary design and technical innovation, HAZE 2 stands as a deserving winner and a shining example of modern superyacht craftsmanship.
