Sanlorenzo 73m VIRTUOSITY launched

Fraser responsible for Sale, Project Management and Yacht Management of this extraordinary yacht.

73m/240’ VIRTUOSITY, the second hull of Sanlorenzo’s flagship 74Steel line, made her debut in La Spezia, Italy, this weekend. Fraser Sales Broker Dennis Frederiksen represented the Buyer in this new-build project. The build was fully project managed by Fraser, and VIRTUOSITY will now join the Fraser Yacht Management fleet.
Developed over more than four years, VIRTUOSITY is the result of close collaboration between the Owners, Fraser, and the shipyard. Construction began in 2022 following an extended pre-design phase, with delivery scheduled for later this year. The yacht measures 73m/240’, with a beam of 13.1m/43’ and a draught of 3.8m/12’5’’.
VIRTUOSITY brought together a world-class design team. Sanlorenzo’s Style Department developed architectural and interior form, with Zuccon International Project responsible for the exterior lines and Studio Paolo Ferrari leading the interior design. The result is a yacht that redefines the boundaries of onboard architecture and lifestyle.
Built with a steel hull and hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system, VIRTUOSITY was conceived around a core philosophy of wellness and wellbeing and radically personalized to reflect her Owners’ vision of life on board, introducing several features never realized on a yacht before. Among her most groundbreaking innovations are a living Ficus Nitida tree, rising through two decks within a carefully engineered micro-ecosystem; an underwater aquarium integrated into the hull; and an Ocean Resort, conceived as a transformative system in direct dialogue with the water.

Harald Van Exem, Executive Vice President & Director Yacht Services of Fraser Yachts, commented: “VIRTUOSITY’s launch celebrates a remarkable creative collaboration. The Fraser Project Management team has been proud to work alongside Sanlorenzo, the Owners, the crew, and the design team on this truly exceptional vessel, defined by its advanced engineering complexity. We look forward to working closely with the Owners as they embark on new adventures on board.”
Tommaso Vincenzi, CEO of Sanlorenzo, commented: “With this yacht, we chose to rethink onboard architecture from its very foundations. 74Steel VIRTUOSITY represents a decisive step forward in the way we conceive space on board. From the integration of living nature to the transformation of technical volumes into experiential environments, every choice stems from a clear architectural vision. Innovation here is not about excess, but about coherence and balance.”
Fraser extends its congratulations to all involved in bringing this vision to life.
