
With over 12 years of experience in superyacht brokerage is known for representing exceptional, one-of-a-kind yachts, including the landmark sale of BEAUPORT, a 170’ expedition vessel and the largest yacht ever sold on the U.S. West Coast. Joaquin has also sold more Feadships on the West Coast than any other broker, a distinction that reflects both expertise and trust within the industry.
Joaquin represents both buyers and sellers in approximately 70% of his transactions, with over 90% of his business generated by repeat clients. His reputation is built on discretion, precision, and long-term relationships. He often likens his role to that of a dance instructor—quietly guiding each transaction so that every step is seamless, aligned, and effortlessly enjoyable.
Before entering yacht brokerage, Joaquin spent 16 years in executive management for musicians and high-profile clientele, followed by a leadership role as Resort Manager at La Costa Resort, where he further refined his appreciation for fine dining, wine, and elevated guest experiences.
A native of San Diego, California, Joaquin began his yachting career in Mallorca, Spain, in 2009, overseeing yacht sales, charter operations, and restorations. During this period, he also pursued his passion for the restoration of classic yachts and exotic automobiles.
Prior to joining Fraser, Joaquin served as a broker at Ensign International Yachts in San Diego, where he quickly rose to become the firm’s lead listing agent.
Beyond brokerage, Joaquin is deeply committed to philanthropy, working closely with charitable organizations to support meaningful causes and give back to the global community.
