Nicholas Travers Tauss is a maritime entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the yachting and marine industries. He is the Group Managing Director of a portfolio of companies operating across yacht sales, superyacht agency services, marina development, charter management, and vessel finance. Through ventures such as Esprit Yachting, Valletta Superyachts, Marina di Valletta, and Tauss Holdings, Nicholas has built a reputation for delivering high-level service to a global clientele of yacht owners, family offices, and UHNW individuals.
He holds directorships across multiple prestigious yacht ownership structures and commercial entities, and has led large-scale infrastructure projects, including the full development and operation of Malta’s flagship yacht marina beneath the historic city of Valletta. Nicholas is fluent in English, Maltese, and Italian, and has over 25,000 nautical miles of navigational experience.
Outside of work, Nicholas is an avid yachtsman and motorsport enthusiast. He enjoys spending time at sea, travelling with family, and exploring innovations in yacht design — but above all, Niki is a passionate and dedicated yacht broker.
