Benefits of V.Ships

Our owning company V.Ships is specialised in crewing services for luxury cruise lines such as Silversea and Seabourne. Working with them and their database of over 40,000 sea farers we can identify crew from the cruise industry who may be ready to move into luxury yachting. This is particularly beneficial for larger yachts who need crew that are more familiar with larger layouts and manning requirements.

MLC Compliant

All of the The Crew Network offices are fully MLC 2006 Compliant (Maritime Labour Convention), this certification means that our crew placement offices operate in accordance with MLC regulation 1.4, following the strict requirements. The MLC 2006 came into force as a result of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Initiative that was designed to regulate the employment of seafarers working aboard commercial vessels, including luxury charter yachts that are registered for commercial use, ensuring the protection of welfare and employment conditions and for all seafarers working on those vessels.
