Crew placement is about truly understanding every aspect of the vacant position so we can find you specific individuals with the relevant qualifications, personality, experience and skill set. Working closely with The Crew Network, our subsidiary company, we are constantly networking with literally tens of thousands of crew members face-to-face, on the telephone and via the internet. All of the The Crew Network offices are fully MLC 2006 Compliant (Maritime Labour Convention), this certification means that our crew placement offices operate in accordance with MLC regulation 1.4, following the strict requirements. The MLC 2006 came into force as a result of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Initiative that was designed to regulate the employment of seafarers working aboard commercial vessels, including luxury charter yachts that are registered for commercial use, ensuring the protection of welfare and employment conditions and for all seafarers working on those vessels.
