Rudi Plessers to Retire

Tuesday 28th February will see the retirement of Rudi Plessers the Chief Financial Officer of Fraser, after 13 years of dedicated service.

Since joining the company in 2003 he has been responsible for Finance, Administration, Legal and Contracts. Prior to that he held various senior financial positions with global players such as Caterpillar,d Allied Lyons, CRBard and Quark.

He has been instrumental in the acquisition of Fraser by Azimut-Benetti SpA , in structuring the company to its global level and in putting it at the forefront in the changing legal and tax environment of the yachting industry.

Rafaela Plessers-von der Gruen, the Corporate Controller at Fraser will also be leaving after 12 years of loyal service. With a Master’s degree in Economics and being a qualified Chartered Accountant she initially worked for global international companies as Moet Hennessy, Quark and Klueber Lubrication.

They have both held vital roles in the company and we would like to thank them for everything that they have done over this time.

Since the 1st of January, Alessandra Nenci and Frederic Allavena have been gradually taking over their roles respectively.

Alessandra joined Fraser in 2013, with a Master’s degree in Economics she has pursued an international career in corporate finance working all over the world. For the seven years prior to joining Fraser she worked for Perini Group, Gruppo Baglietto and Heesen Yachts building up an extensive knowledge of the yachting industry.

Frederic Allavena joined Fraser in 2016 after nearly 20 years at V.Ships. Having worked in a variety of accountancy roles at the world’s largest ship services provider, Frederic’s last ten years there were as the Controller for V.Ships Leisure division.
