Experience Luxury at the 40th Cannes Yachting Festival

The annual yacht show season will soon be upon the French Riviera once more, commencing with the Cannes Yachting Festival 2017 between the 12th and 17th of September. Billed as ‘the ultimate rendezvous,’ the Cannes Yachting Festival is Europe’s largest in-water boat show, and attracts both those with a passion for seafaring and those with a penchant for the luxury lifestyle. Fraser will be in attendance at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2017, with an impressive fleet of superyachts available for viewing at anchor.

The Event’s 40th Edition

In 2016, over 51,000 people attended the Cannes Yachting Festival, enjoying the incredible atmosphere and entertainment on offer and admiring some of the finest superyachts on earth. The 2017 edition is expected to be even better, as the Cannes Yachting Festival will celebrate its 40th anniversary in grand style with an exciting line-up of yacht launches, VIP experiences, glamorous events, and the return of the Luxury Gallery in the Palais des Festivals. The event will be spread over Cannes’ two marinas – Port Pierre Canto and the Vieux Port – which are enlarged with 3 km of floating pontoons. The total exhibition space will comprise 300,000 sqm, with more than 550 exhibitors across the yachting and luxury sectors showcasing the latest marine products and high-end goods.

A Collection of Quality

The Concours d’Elegance competition is a crowd favourite at the Cannes Yachting Festival, and welcomes a procession of stunning day boats (less than 12m) that parade past spectators and judges at the Beach Club on the 14th September. The Luxury Gallery, which was showcased for the first time in 2016, will return in 2017 inside the Palais des Festivals, and will feature exhibitions of fine watches, supercars, private aviation, jewellery and perfume, premium services, hotels and real estate, and more, from elite brands.

Transfer by Supercar

For the 40th edition, the Cannes Yachting Festival has partnered with luxury Italian car manufacturer, Maserati, who will feature their latest models in the Maserati VIP lounge at the heart of the show. Maserati will provide a VIP car service from Nice Airport to Cannes.

An Impressive Fleet of Luxury Superyachts

The event will display over 600 motor yachts and sailing yachts for sale and charter, as well as a range of yachting accessories and exhibitions from yacht brokerages and other high-end brands.
