Baltic yacht charter itinerary

What do you get if you cross a world-class restaurant scene and achingly hip nightlife with raw natural beauty of goliath proportions? The answer is a yacht charter in the Baltic. Head to this treasure trove region and you will be richly rewarded for foregoing the usual yachting hangouts.

Embark in Copenhagen, with its buzzing restaurant scene and splendid historical parks, walk in the local markets and try a traditional smorgasbord.

Head to Torekov in the Båstad municipality of Sweden, where you can walk along the cobblestone streets of this tiny fishing town. Båstad itself is known as the ‘St Tropez of Sweden’ because of its glitzy reputation for parties in the summer months.

Heading north along the ‘Swedish Riviera’ towards Gothenburg you will explore flat-calm bays and expansive sandy beaches dotted with small wooden red houses. This peaceful stretch of cruising is the perfect place to unwind and recalibrate. The brave will take the plunge in a cold, curative bath in Varberg.

The second largest city in Sweden, Gothenburg is a cosmopolitan port with a vibrant arts scene, excellent shopping and some great restaurant options. Liseberg, a famous attraction park, is a great place to entertain the kids for an afternoon.

Continue your Baltic yacht charter north and take in the quaint and colourful fishing villages along the way, including Smögen and Hunnesbostrand. Eat fresh oysters and herring, and jump in a kayak to head out among the local playful seals. As you continue north, the landscape will change from flatter archipelago to lush green hills and forests reaching right up to the coastline.

day 9-10   OSLO

Immerse yourself in the cultural harbour city of Oslo, with over 50 museums and art galleries, castles, cathedrals and a royal palace. There is a vibrant nightlife scene in Oslo, making it the perfect place for a celebration and drop-off location for your Baltic yacht charter.
