Alessandro Ginnetti serves as Technical Superintendent within the Yacht Management team, based in Monaco. An experienced Fleet Technical Superintendent and Naval Architect, he brings over a decade of expertise in marine engineering, ship management, and technical operations.
Alessandro has a proven track record in overseeing dry bulk vessels, including Capesize and Supramax carriers, with responsibilities spanning daily maintenance, unplanned repairs, operational budgeting, drydocking, class surveys, and onboard inspections. His background includes technical oversight for international fleets and close collaboration with safety, purchasing, operations, and crewing departments. Earlier roles in maritime automation and risk advisory have further strengthened his expertise across engineering and compliance disciplines.
He holds both a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Genoa, complemented by studies in Offshore Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Certified as an internal auditor (ISM, ISPS, MLC), he also holds additional qualifications in quality, environmental, and risk management systems.
Fluent in Italian and English, Alessandro is recognised for his analytical mindset, precision, and commitment to operational excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, music, and traveling.
