ODYSSEY
MOTOR YACHT
Built on a long-range steel and aluminum platform, ODYSSEY was among the first Italian projects in the 60m range to offer a fully custom, owner-driven layout, with all the features expected of a seaworthy, high-quality full-displacement yacht.
Delivered in 2013 to a high specification, reportedly for an owner of CRN, ODYSSEY was the result of a close collaboration between CRN and Zuccon International Project, responsible for both her exterior lines and interior. The quality is evident throughout. ODYSSEY’s aggressive, geometric profile and creative engineering solutions earned her the World Yacht Trophy in 2013 for Most Innovative Yacht over 50m.
Beautifully proportioned, the yacht’s structure is not hidden behind styling; rather, it informs the design. Open elements such as the balcony in the master suite and the beach club heighten the experience of being at sea: the stern hatch folds down to create a spacious beach lounge on the water. The almost full-height windows of the upper salon provide panoramic views, while the floodable garage on the lower deck accommodates a 7-metre tender that can be quickly launched without the use of davits.
Spacious at 939GT, her exterior decks are as carefully organized as the interior and surprisingly generous for a 58-metre yacht, with al fresco dining on all decks and a forward-facing whirlpool on the sundeck. Other key features include a touch-and-go helipad suitable for a Bell 429 or similar helicopter, an elevator serving all decks, and zero-speed stabilizers.
The original gym and spa on the sundeck were recently converted into a VIP aerie with en-suite bathroom and dressing room. ODYSSEY now accommodates up to 13 guests in six staterooms, including a full-beam master on the main deck with his-and-her bathrooms, a private study, and a starboard-side balcony. She carries 14 crew.
ODYSSEY is powered by twin MTU engines, reaching a top speed of 16 knots and cruising comfortably at 14 knots. At 12 knots she has a range of 3,000nm. She combines inspired engineering with Italian flair for elegant living.
