Barcelona yacht charter itinerary

Barcelona is a vibrant international city with thriving restaurants and nightlife as well as a world-famous arts scene. Whether you are starting off here or disembarking at the Spanish city, spending a few days in Barcelona on your yacht charter will be a fantastic experience.

Itinerary

day 1   GOTHIC QUARTER

Board your yacht charter in the modern and central OneOcean Port Vell marina, which has an excellent private yacht club that is open to yacht guests. After a walk through the winding streets of the nearby Gothic Quarter, settle into your yacht charter with a cocktail and delicious Catalan-style dinner on board.

day 2   VINEYARD TOUR

Enjoy a morning massage in the OneOcean Port Vell Club, before driving up to the vineyards of the hills behind Barcelona for a wine tasting tour. There are some excellent wineries within a 90-minute drive of the city. Perhaps take in a football game at the local Barcelona FC stadium. Return to the yacht in the late afternoon and enjoy a sundowner on board before heading out to one of the 20 Michelin-starred restaurants in Barcelona. For late-night dancing among the hip crowd, head to La Terrassa, the rooftop bar at the Villa Emilia.

day 3   HISTORICAL BARCELONA

Walk to the beach for some early-morning yoga; Barcelona was voted National Geographic’s Best Beach City in the World in 2016, and the sunrise views are spectacular. Spend the day taking in Barcelona’s historical sites, including the Sagrada Família grand cathedral, Park Güell and underground ruins of the ancient city. Enjoy some shopping in the luxury boutiques of the Passeig de Gràcia, before returning to the yacht to change for dinner. A private dinner on the terrace of one of the Gaudí houses is a special and memorable way to absorb the unique artistic heritage of the region.

day 4   BAY OF ROSES

Leaving the city behind, travel north on your yacht charter to the beautiful coastline of the Costa Brava, stopping to swim in the peaceful turquoise bays surrounded by craggy white cliffs topped by olive trees. Find an anchorage in the Bay of Roses and travel inland by car to the fascinating surrealist art Dalí Museum in Figueres, and enjoy a traditional Catalan dinner in one of the quaint fishing villages along the coast. After dinner you will weigh anchor, to travel overnight to the Balearic Islands and continue your tour of the region, or return to Barcelona to disembark from your yacht charter.
