One of the most successful young Brokers in his generation, Marco has sold over 18 million EUR worth of yachts since he began his yacht career in 2012. Balancing his time between Monaco, Europe and the Americas, he is one of the only international yacht Brokers in Latin America.
Marco’s successful sales and purchases include M/Y HERA-C, M/Y ELALDREA, M/Y SEA WISH, M/Y ANNA III, M/Y MATLYN, M/Y MALANDRINO, M/Y ELENA B, M/Y AISLING and M/Y BLU, and his sweet spot is the 25-40m size range. Sellers trust Marco to secure the best deal for them: in 63% of his sales transactions, he has represented the Seller. However, he is also experienced in representing Buyers, and has in 28% of his completed deals represented both Buyer and Seller.
Sicily-born, he specialises in Italian yachts. Working closely with the world’s top Italian shipyards, Marco has an exceptional level of insight and knowledge on the new-build and pre-owned brokerage market among the largest Italian yacht builders (who are today responsible for almost 50% of yachts available), including Benetti, Azimut, Sanlorenzo, Overmarine, Ferretti, Custom Line and CRN.
Marco’s passion for yachting expands far beyond buying and selling. A lifelong passionate sailor, he grew up on his family’s boats and went on to do a Master’s degree in Yacht Design, giving him a highly detailed insight into the new build process and the ability to be a trusted link between shipyard and client. He also holds a Broker’s licence, bringing an extra level of professionalism to his sales transactions.
A multilingual expert fluent in five languages (Sicilian mother tongue and fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian) and currently studying Arabic, Marco’s clients span 15 different nationalities.
