Argentario yacht charter

Monte Argentario is situated just 16 km east of the Isola Del Giglio, 35 km south of Grosseto and 150 km south of Florence. Connected to the mainland by 3 narrow isthmuses that form two beautiful lagoons Monte Argentario is a peninsula covering an area of 23.3 square kilometres.

Translucent Waters and Mountainous Terrain

This stunning part of the Tuscan coastline has a thoroughly different feel to the rest of Tuscany. Rugged, mountainous terrain gives way to plush open fields inland whilst small pebbly beaches on the shore harbour some of the most translucent waters in the Mediterranean.

Secluded Coves and Hidden Beaches

Famed since Roman times the coastline of Argentario has become a lot more accessible in recent years with expansions to the road network. However, there are still some coves and beaches that can only be accessed on a Monte Argentario yacht charter or by intrepid hikers.

Argentario Golf Resort

Exclusive areas such as the Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano offer a selection of restaurants and bars in which to have a bite to eat or a refreshing drink. Further inland the exclusive Argentario Golf Resort has newly opened and offers green fees for day visits.

Cycling Routes from Novice to Advanced

Cycle enthusiasts can complete a 39 km route round the peninsula that covers a variety of terrain and gradients. For those less inclined for such exertions, there are some lovely routes on flat, shaded roads near Porto Ercole on the Feniglia.

Bird watching and Wildlife

For the keen ornithologist the Orbetello nature reserve harbours a great variety of birds and wildlife in its 800 hectares of reserve, 300 of which is salt-water lagoons. An Argentario yacht charter will ensure that you have access to these locations that are rich in flora and fauna.
