About Vassilis Fotilas
Vassilis is an award-winning Broker, having received the coveted Richard Earp Award for outstanding fair, ethical and transparent professional client service in yachting. He joined Fraser in 2007 and was trained and mentored as a Broker by the man whose name the Award honors.
As a Sales Broker, Vassilis has successfully concluded close to €500 million worth of yacht sales built by over 14 different shipyards and ranging from 24m (79’) to 70m (230’).
Vassilis has also acted as a Commercial Director overseeing the sales and charter operations for Fraser in Europe, Asia and Oceania.
In 2022 he spearheaded the opening of Fraser’s Athens office and was instrumental in Fraser’s acquisition of a majority interest in renowned Greek charter management company. Vassilis now heads up the Athens office as Managing Director Greece and Sales Broker.
Born in Athens, Greece, Vassilis attended Gordonstoun school in Scotland before obtaining a BSc Honors at Stirling University. Following military duties in the Hellenic Navy, he gained an MSc in Sports and Leisure Management from Loughborough University.
