Global Marketing Manager
Dependent on qualifications and experience
The Marketing Executive will work alongside the Marketing Manager to manage and co-ordinate the full spectrum of marketing, planning and communications projects taking place in Europe and the ROW. He/she will also liaise closely with a counterpart and Graphic Designer in Fort Lauderdale who handle the same range of projects in the USA.
The successful applicant is likely to have at least 3 years' marketing experience in a similar role within the yachting or luxury sector. He/she will have a solid understanding of all aspects of marketing communications including online activity and will be comfortable managing a wide range of suppliers. As an experienced negotiator and meticulous planner, they will be able to work under pressure, multi-task, manage detailed budgets, negotiate rates with suppliers and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will require excellent written and spoken English and will occasionally need to write press releases, copy for brochures, the web site and other media. Experience of event planning, print management and sponsorship activity is also important. He/she will be a self-motivated hard-worker who is meticulous, has high standards and an eye for detail. The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the Marketing Manager, should be confident working at a senior, decision-making level and should also be ambitious, and keen to learn/progress.
To assist the Global Marketing Manager with the management, planning and execution of all European marketing communications projects in line with the overall marketing plan and budget.
To assist with the management, planning and execution of all specific, regional marketing activities in Russia, Asia and the UAE.
To assist with the management, planning and execution of Group-wide marketing initiatives.
To assist with the ongoing development of Fraser Yachtss corporate identity and brand guidelines.
To project manage all aspects of our presence at boat shows across Europe and the ROW, including but not limited to; Monaco, Cannes, Genoa, Palma, Singapore, Dubai and Moscow. Booking of the space, stand design and construction, stand management and production of all collateral.
To project manage our attendance at luxury events across Europe and the ROW in order to maximize our presence and return. Events may include, but are not limited to Top Marques, Cartier Polo, Concours d???Elegance, the Boodles Challenge etc.
To manage all areas of Fraser Yachts' presence online, including the Fraser Yachts website content, SEO, e-news, e-fliers and email marketing as well as social media channels and the development of new applications for mobile devices.
To liaise with all department managers and co-ordinate production of all printed marketing materials including Superyacht Galler ies and ad-hoc brochures and leaflets. To appoint and oversee translators, copy-writers, photographers, designers, printers, couriers and mailing houses to ensure delivery and distribution on time and within budget
To project manage the compilation, production and distribution of the annual charter catalogue. To liaise with the designers and other suppliers and to coordinate all aspects of the project. To write and collate the charter destination information, itineraries and photography, plus the introductory content. To liaise with all advertisers and to co-ordinate the acquisition of all advertisement copy.
To project manage the production of the annual Fraser client magazine. To oversee the content, advertising and delivery schedules so that the publication is delivered and distributed on time and within budget.
To ensure consistent and correct use of the brand throughout the company in all marketing material and client facing documents. To work with the Graphic Designers and Brand Agency to develop the brand as and when needed.
Advertising - Print & Online
To assist the US team with ad planning, banner sponsorship and media schedules by helping to co-ordinate our European/ROW advertising requirements through liaison with the local brokers, office managers and media companies.
Photography & Video
To maintain and develop the photographic and video library in conjunction with the Graphic Designer. To organize photo sessions and video shoots and/or acquire stock images and footage as required.
Printing & Reproduction
To co-ordinate the production of all visual communication materials printed within Europe and the ROW, including; stationery, fliers, brochures and large format display graphics.
Branded Items & Gifts
To research and procure stocks of appropriate branded items for distribution to potential clients at European boat shows and events. To research and procure appropriate individual gifts for key clients.
PR, Sponsership & Partner Marketing
To maintain and build relationships with key media contacts in the yachting, trade and consumer press. To monitor editorial schedules and manage the writing, collation and supply of timely information to all publications and online media. To achieve widespread and regular coverage and maintain a high visibility and positive profile for Fraser Yachts. To build and maintain partner marketing relationships with high profile luxury brands in fields such as automotive, fashion, private jet, jewelers, watches, wines etc.
Marketing Support Services
To work closely with the brokers and staff on an ad hoc basis when required for specific projects/clients. To develop tools and templates which allow staff to create high quality, custom presentations, proposals, yacht selections and charter itineraries. The candidate may also be required to perform other, ad hoc duties which may be reasonably required.
