Neorion Yachts is a luxury superyachts builder based in Syros, Greece, and are part of the select group of global shipyards capable of constructing full displacement yachts over 85m in steel and aluminium.
Named for the ancient Greek word meaning a place to construct or repair boats, Neorion Yachts boasts a long and illustrious boat-building history. The yard was founded in the 1800s, when it began building traditional ships, boats, and steamships to support the Greek Steamship Company, and by the 19th century Neorion was one of the most important heavy industries in all of Greece.
In 1997, Neorion acquired Elefsis Shipyard and began constructing megayachts, using nearly two centuries of boat building knowledge to craft Neorion’s flagship vessels, QUEEN MIRI and MOONLIGHT II.
Neorion is currently working on a 120m new build design with acclaimed naval architect, Laurent Giles.
